Nature’s Essentials® Supplement Ride and Shine Contest

1. Introduction: Purina Mills, LLC is offering the Nature’s Essentials® Supplement, Ride and Shine Contest ("Contest"). VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

2. Eligibility: Entrants must be eighteen (18) years of age or older and a legal resident of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia. Employees of Sponsor, the Sponsor’s parents, subsidiaries, affiliated companies, and agents and the immediate family (defined as parents, spouse, children, siblings, grandparents) of each such employees, and all those with whom such employees are domiciled, are NOT eligible.

3. Timing: Contest begins at 12:00:01 a.m. E.T. on Wednesday March 14, 2007, and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. E.T. on Sunday, July 1, 2007.

4. How to Enter: Visit http://naturesessentials.equisearch.equine.com/ and fill in the required entry information. Then: (1) complete all the fields on the contest entry form and upload a “before” photograph of your horse; (2) feed your horse Nature’s Essentials® Supplement for sixty (60) consecutive days; (3) upload a second photograph of your horse after feeding Nature’s Essentials® Horse Supplement for sixty (60) consecutive days (the “after” photograph, we will send you an email reminder to write your essay and upload the photograph); and (4) submit an original story of 150 words or less (no more than 2000 characters) about your horse and how Nature’s Essentials® Horse Supplement improved the condition of your horse. Once the entry information is completed and the above information has been submitted, entrants are entered into the Contest. Individuals may enter this Contest by filling out the online form and submitting the required information only once. More than one entry from any person or email address will void all entries from that person or email address. Sponsor may also ask optional questions. Completion of these questions is not required to enter the Contest. If entrant is unable to electronically submit the entry information, photos and story, submissions may be mailed to:

5. Photo Requirements: Photo must be a current, original, unaltered photograph (on which no image-editing software has been used except to resize the image). Photograph format must follow specified guidelines listed below. All entries must be the property and original, unpublished work of the entrant, may not have won prior awards, and must not infringe on any third-party rights. Photographs taken by Professional Photographers are not eligible. Any person whose primary occupation involves taking photos for profit shall be deemed a Professional Photographer for purposes of this Contest. Entrant must own the animal(s) featured in photo entry. Photos must not depict animal(s) in unsafe conditions. Photographs must be files that can be uploaded in compliance with the Contest requirements, in JPEG or GIF format with picture dimensions no smaller than 800 x 600 pixels and a file size not larger than 400 kilobytes (uncompressed). The photograph must be horizontal and in color. Mail-in photos must be no smaller than 3" x 5" and no larger than 5" x 7", in color or black and white. No slides, instant photos, or photocopies will be accepted.

5. Drawing: This Contest will have eighteen (18) winners, as judged by the judging panel. All of the stories will be judged by evaluating the stories and photos of your horse’s body condition, hair coat, and a notation on how the product helped your horse. Submissions will be judged on the basis of: sincerity and appropriateness of the story, originality and interest of the story, and quality and originality of the photo.

The judging panel will be comprised of Sponsor marketing personnel. All decisions of the judges will be final and binding in all respects. Sponsor is not responsible for, and shall not be liable for, late, lost, misdirected or unsuccessful efforts to notify the winner.

Submission judging will be conducted on or about August 13, 2007, by the Sponsor, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to the Contest. Potential winners will be notified by email or mail on or about August 13, 2007. If a potential winner cannot be contacted within seven (7) days after the first attempt to contact such potential winner, an alternate entrant will be selected in his or her place at from all remaining entries received.

6. Prizes: The following eighteen (18) prizes will be awarded:

Grand Prize: One (1) winner will receive a one (1) year supply of Nature’s Essentials® Supplements, quantity limited to ½ ton ARV: $725.00. Second Prize: Seven (7) winners will receive one (1) set of four (4) bags/blocks/buckets (choice of the winner) of Purina Mills® Nature’s Essentials® Supplements, ARV: $100.00 each. Third Prize: Ten (10) winners will receive one (1) copy of Flicka the Movie on DVD. ARV: $20 each.

Total Approximate Retail Value of All Prizes: $1025.00. Sponsor is not responsible for lost or mutilated prizes and none will be replaced. Prize is nontransferable and must be accepted as awarded. No cash or other substitution may be made, except by Sponsor in its sole discretion in the event that the prize cannot be awarded for any reason, in which case, Sponsor will award a prize of equal or greater value. All taxes, fees and surcharges on prizes are the sole responsibility of winner.

7. Other Terms and Conditions: Potential winners will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, and where lawful, a Publicity Release, within seven (7) days of notification, failing which the potential winner will be disqualified and another winner selected in the place of the disqualified person at random from all entries received. If any prize or prize notification is returned as non-deliverable, the potential winner will be disqualified and another potential winner will be selected in the original potential winner's place. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees that the Sponsor and those acting under the Sponsor’s authority, may use winner's name, picture/portrait, story submission, photograph submission, likeness and/or voice, for advertising and promotional purposes without further consideration, unless prohibited by law. BY ACCEPTING THE PRIZE, THE WINNER AGREES THAT THE SPONSOR, ITS SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, ADVERTISING AND PROMOTION AGENCIES, AND ALL OF THE SPONSOR'S OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS, WILL HAVE NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR, AND WILL BE HELD HARMLESS BY WINNER FOR ANY LIABILITY FOR ANY INJURY, LOSS OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND TO PERSONS, INCLUDING DEATH, AND PROPERTY, DUE IN WHOLE OR IN PART, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, FROM THE ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE OR MISUSE OF THE PRIZE OR PARTICIPATION IN THIS CONTEST OR PARTICIPATION IN ANY CONTEST OR PRIZE RELATED ACTIVITY. Subject to all federal, state and local laws. Void where prohibited.

8. Miscellaneous: All entries become the sole property of Sponsor and none will be returned. Sponsor which retains all rights including, but not limited to, the right to copy, edit, publish, use, adapt and/or modify such entry in any way, in any and all media, without limitation. Entries may be edited for length and grammar before publishing. In the event of a dispute, entries made by Internet will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. The "authorized account holder" is deemed the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, service provider or other online organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. A potential winner may be requested to provide Sponsor with proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the winning entry. If for any reason the Contest is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure, human error or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Contest, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. The Sponsor is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, any combination thereof, or otherwise, including any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in the Contest. Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, illegible, incomplete, stolen, or misdirected entries. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
